December 1st… Tyketto (The Corporation
And so onto the final leg of 2011, the eleventh hour indeed, December a month that promises much in the way of live bands. We kick off in the Yorkshire city of steel, Sheffield and for once it’s not snowing while I grace it with my presence. Tyketto are on the road and we roll up to the Corporation club in high excitement. It’s been a year since I last saw Tyketto front man Danny Vaughn live, on that occasion (the Inspirations and aspirations tour) Danny played a set full of covers and solo material tonight the band he’s most known for are on stage and with new Tyketto songs as well as all the favourite ‘classics’ on show the packet Corporation club is being treated to one excellent gig having first been thoroughly warmed up by last minute replacement support band the local Spill Sixteen, a revelation to behold. The best news we could hope for was delivered by Danny during the evening that in early 2012 there would be a brand new Tyketto studio album followed by a summer tour to back up its release, grand news indeed… GD.
